Coo Babble
Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 4, 2026
Coo Babble is designed as a local-first audio keepsake app for parents. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Information Stored On Your Device
Coo Babble lets you create baby profiles, record short voice messages, transform them into baby-style babbles, save notes, and replay saved recordings.
The following information is stored locally on your device:
- Parent name
- Baby names
- Audio recordings
- Recording titles
- Notes
- App setup and preference state
This information is not uploaded by Coo Babble to a server.
Microphone Access
Coo Babble asks for microphone permission so you can record short voice messages. Recordings are processed locally on your device and saved locally unless you delete them.
Feedback Email
If you choose to send feedback from the Profile tab, Coo Babble opens Apple's email composer with your feedback prefilled. You can review, edit, cancel, or send the email. Feedback is only sent if you choose to send it.
If you send feedback, the email may include the message you typed and the email address configured in your Mail app.
Third-Party Content
Coo Babble includes bundled baby sound samples licensed under CC0. Attribution and license links are available inside the app under Profile > Attributions.
Analytics, Ads, and Tracking
Coo Babble does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
Data Sharing
Coo Babble does not sell personal information and does not share local recordings, baby profiles, or notes with third parties.
Children
Coo Babble is intended for use by parents and adults. It is not directed to children as the primary user.
Deleting Data
You can delete baby profiles and recordings inside the app. Deleting a baby profile also removes the recordings associated with that baby from the app's local storage.
You can also delete the app from your device to remove app data stored by iOS.
Changes
This policy may be updated if Coo Babble adds new features such as cloud sync, accounts, analytics, or server-side processing.
